Who was Mark Boston?
Mark Boston was a WGI and WGASC judge who died in November of 1991. He was a teacher at a Lakewood Elementary school and a color guard instructor for many years in the Central new york area before moving to Southern California. Most important, mark was a friend of the WGASC and many of it's members. His support of our judging association during its formation was crucial to it becoming what it is today. His knowledge, adjudication ability, educational approach and leadership are greatly missed. For these reasons, this scholarship has been named after him as a memorial to his existence and love for Color Guard and the education it provides.
